2022 Annual Report

PRESIDENT'S REMARKS

It has been an honor to be President of CWM for the last three years. The Foundation continues to grow and our outreach has spread to more partner agencies in an even larger way. This past year we were able to provide a $15000 grant to ASDD for the replacement of their air conditioning system in their fitness area which was no longer being utilized during the heat of the summer. We were also able to provide Faith House with a $25000 grant towards the purchase of the old Rio Sol nursing home in order for them to develop a new domestic violence shelter. These two grants were in addition to the annual support of our normal partner agencies and our Y Not Assist program.

With inflation on the rise many of our neighbors are stretched to the max just to make ends meet. It only takes one tragedy to send them into a tailspin. We were able to deliver much needed assistance to these neighbors as well as bringing hope into their circumstances. It has been very rewarding volunteer work. I have stepped down as President for the coming year and will take a leave from the board as I have been called to serve in other capacities in our region. CWM will be in good hands as Amanda St. Romain takes over as the new leader with a very committed board of directors. Thanks to all of you who have faithfully supported us and continue to support us.

Grace and peace be yours in abundance
