2021 Annual Report

PRESIDENT'S REMARKS

It has already been two years since the COVID-19 pandemic has gripped the world changing most of our lives in many different ways. I am hopeful and continue to pray for an end to the continuous outbreaks that plague us. Our sincere condolences are with all who have lost loved ones during this difficult period. There will be new “New Normals” that will continue to emerge as we adapt and adjust our lives to this new era.

Corporate Works of Mercy Foundation continued to fulfill our role in Central Louisiana by providing critical funding to our partner agencies, hurricane relief efforts and supplies and compassionate assistance to our neighbors who sought our help. We never know who is going to be placed into our paths and we do our best to assess each individual situation with the facts that are available to us and to meet our neighbors where they’re at without judgement. It’s often humbling to share life’s difficulties with perfect strangers , it can also be gratifying to be of assistance during their struggles, creating a bridge to better times while giving them hope for improving their lives.

I continue to be impressed with the generous funding provided to CWM by SRO, sponsors, team members and the customers of Y-Not Stop. Thanks for making what we do possible.

CWM and our entire board of directors stand united and ready for continuing to address the needs of our neighbors and providing financial support to our Partner Agencies in 2021!
