The Food Bank of Central Louisiana
To Feed the Hungry & Give Drink to the Thirsty
The Food Bank of Central Louisiana’s mission is to eradicate hunger in Central Louisiana. The Food Bank is able to serve more than 22,400 people every month in our community through the generous support of individual and corporate donors. For every dollar donated, the Food Bank of Central Louisiana can provide five meals to families in need.

Faith House’s mission is to provide safety, shelter, empowerment, and
advocacy to survivors of domestic violence. For residents and their
children, they provide safe housing, food, clothing, health screening and support, medications, advocacy, counseling; legal
assistance; and a children’s program.

To Care for the Sick
The Alzheimer’s Association’s mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and ehance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading, global voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care and support, and the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s research.

STEPS Cenla
To Care for the Sick
STEPS Cenla’s mission is Striving To Ensure Pediatric Survival by donating each year to one large research based organization, St. Jude Research
Hospital, as well as to provide emotional, spiritual and financial support to local children (Heroes) currently fighting battles right here in Cenla. In their inaugural year, STEPS Cenla raised $30,000 for St. Jude’s and assisted 7 local children with medical expenses.

Ransom the Captive
Re-Entry Solutions’ mission is to work with existing community resources and to develop needed ones to break the cycle of return to arrest and imprisonment. Re-Entry’s 3 areas of focus are: employment, housing, and restoration of mind, body and soul. The goal is to help keep families together whenever possible to break the cycle of return not only for the returning citizen, but for the next generation as well.

Cenla Pregnancy Center offers a variety of professional services and resources, including: pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, consultations and more. “We believe every woman deserves truth especially when faced with news of an unplanned pregnancy. Our doors are open to everyone, our services are always free, and our professionals are kind and knowledgeable.”
