Our Story

For many years, St. Romain Oil has been a proud sponsor of local charities.  Beginning with the Alzheimer's Association, our fundraising grew to include the Food Bank, Faith House, Hope House, Re-Entry Solutions and STEPS Cenla.  Inspired by the biblical corporal works of mercy, our 501(c)3 non-profit Corporate Works of Mercy Foundation partners with these organizations to help Cenla neighbors in need of assistance.   We also administer our “Y-Not Assist” program to help those whose needs aren’t met by the other organizations.  Our mission is to share God’s blessings and love through action and in truth with our neighbors in need of assistance.Here at Corporate Works of Mercy Foundation, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2000, we’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts.
